CURRENT INJECTION KITS

SABTRON make primary current injection kit is most reliable & effective kit for testing & commissioning of protection system in electrical substation. We offer high output current up to 9000 Amps with relatively high burden. It is designed with user friendly features to check operations of the component in protection system including Circuit Breakers, Bus Bars, CTs, Relays, MCBs, MCCBs etc. It delivers high current output in low voltage with variable transformer. This equipments include variable transformer, double wound transformer, ammeter with CT. These are also used for high current injection during commissioning of protection systems, major repairs and component replacement in power substations. The equipment only can be started from zero, it is protect from middle position operation when switch on it (optional).

High current output is injected to the main circuit of power line to simulate the fault current. And then check whether the protection system will be operated according to the design. High current output is injected to the primary of current transformer and then measure the inducted current from secondary by error measurement instrument to check the ratio error and phase displacement of CT.

High current output is injected to the main circuit of circuit breaker to simulate the rated current in primary. And then check the stability of circuit breaker according to the temperature rise procedure. It is considered as a AC high current source in power equipment or cable test. It’s characterized as polar-less adjustment of output current, stable increase of current, large scope of load variation, reliable function, easy and safe operation and etc. It’s ideal to adopt as current source equipment for current/temperature increase of industrial and mining equipments.
